Psychological work environment

A good psychological work environment is a fundamental prerequisite for satisfaction and well-being at work. It is Aarhus University’s goal to develop and maintain a healthy and good work environment for all AU employees.

Reduced well-being may occur because of personal crises that are not directly related to work, and it may be caused by a stressful work programme and much more. As working life and private life are closely linked, a personal crisis will often have an impact on working life. Therefore, we have chosen to embrace the whole person in this context. The key persons are, of course, not trained psychologists, but they are all good "listeners", and hopefully they can help along to a better well-being – with relevant reference to professional advice if it makes sense in the individual situation.

If you experience mental overload, stress, offensive behaviour or anything else that affects your well-being, you can find help and guidance on this website.
