The major task of the committee is to focus on equality and well-being in the Department. The committee will draw attention to all groups of employees in the Department.
The Diversity Committee at the Department of Biology is not appointed but consists of volunteers across all professional levels, 1 to 3 members from each section (academic staff incl. PhD students), and the administrative and technical staff. If no volunteer can be found for a specific section or group, the management will appoint a member.
