Meet the Department of Biology at the Nature Meeting 2024
Hear presentations from your colleagues and meet them afterward.
From May 23-25, Hirtshals will host this year’s Nature Meeting, which focuses on a wide range of topics related to nature, climate, and biodiversity through debates, presentations, and numerous activities. Around 30,000 visitors are expected to attend to learn more about nature.
You can meet the Department of Biology at various stages and events throughout the meeting. For instance, Assistant Professor Eva Egelyng Sigsgaard will give a NatureTalk on coastal biodiversity at the Learn stage on Friday, while Postdoc Elena Pearce will be the keynote speaker on the ROOTS stage on Thursday. Find their events and all other places the department is represented in the Nature Meeting program: naturmoedet.dk/program-for-naturmoedet-2024.
Additionally, there is an opportunity to meet with your colleagues from both the Department of Biology and the Department of Ecoscience at Peter Grønkjær's summer house, which will once again serve as the "social" base for AU participants. Here, you can enjoy socializing and networking with colleagues and partners, as well as relax with a cup of coffee between events.
