BIO Match 2024 – Stakladen, January 24th

Dept. of Biology and with Dept. of Ecoscience are hosting BIO Match 2024, which is a biannual event bringing together researchers, companies, public institutions, and funding agencies within broad area of biological sciences.

The aim of BIO Match is to foster new collaborations across sectors by providing a forum to meet and pitch ideas to funding agencies and potential collaborators. The program consists of mix of short inspirational talks, - this year spearheaded by climate activist and cartoonist Anders Morgenthaler; information from funding agencies, one-minutes pitches and plenty of time to visit the stands set up by some of the participants.

As a Dept. of Biology scientist, you can sign up for a stand to showcase your research, your techniques or your ideas for a new project, you can present an idea for a project in need of a partner as a one-minute pitch or you can just come and enjoy a nice afternoon with focus on research, funding, collaboration and the green transition.

The event will take place in Stakladen, January 24th from 12.00 to 16.30. There will be food and snacks and good company.
