Join this presentation to explore the world of terrain and surface water analysis with SCALGO Live, an innovative web-based platform (https://scalgo.com/).

Discover the World:
Utilizing the power of global geographical digitization and cutting-edge big data processing technology, SCALGO Live offers a digital replica of the surface of nine countries. Dive into terrain analysis, surface water examination, and experiment with terrain-based solutions like never before.

A Legacy of Expertise:
Born out of over two decades of research in big data algorithms and data structures at Aarhus University, SCALGO is a true pioneer. Founded by the late Professor Lars Arge, whose close collaboration with Professor Jens-Christian Svenning is noteworthy, our algorithms empower us to compute entire country or continent surfaces at record speeds.

Interactive Exploration:
Our platform is not just about data—it's about interaction. Zoom in anywhere and dynamically engage with terrain data and surface water analyses. State-of-the-art machine learning techniques enable us to produce land cover maps in stunning 20-cm resolution; for now these are available for Denmark, Sweden and Norway, but more will follow.. These maps, available as a standalone layers, also underpin our surface water analyses with regards to infiltration.

Seamless Integration:
Export data and analyses effortlessly from our platform, or seamlessly integrate SCALGO Live into your desktop GIS application.
